The 2025 Mazda EZ-6 Extended Range 200 Zhiya Sport Edition is a mid-size extended-range electric sedan, jointly developed by Changan and Mazda. It will be launched in June 2025 with an official suggested retail price of approximately 161,800 yuan. Combining an elegant coupe-like stance with an extended-range powertrain, it balances range, space, and intelligent features, making it an ideal choice for those seeking quality and practicality.
The new vehicle is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine as a range extender, generating a maximum power of 70 kW, and a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 160 kW (218 horsepower) and a peak torque of 320 N·m. It boasts excellent 0–100 km/h acceleration and a top speed of 170 km/h. It is mated to a single-speed fixed-ratio electric vehicle transmission and is rear-wheel drive.
The power battery utilizes a 28.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, achieving a pure electric range of up to 200 km under CLTC conditions. Fast charging (30%-80%) takes only approximately 0.33 hours. With a range extender, the combined range reaches up to 1,300 km, significantly alleviating range anxiety.
Measuring 4921 × 1890 × 1485 mm with a wheelbase of 2895 mm, it falls into the mid-to-large sedan segment. Adopting the Kodo design language, the exterior features invisible door handles, an intelligent rear spoiler, and through-type taillights, resulting in an elegant and dynamic appearance.
The interior, themed around simplicity and technology, features a 14.6-inch central control screen, a 10.1-inch LCD instrument panel, a 50-inch AR-HUD, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, enabling voice and gesture interaction. Luxurious features include premium seats (Alcantara and Nappa leather), a 14-speaker Sony audio system, 64-color ambient lighting, zero-gravity seats, multiple driving modes, and a panoramic sunroof.
In terms of intelligent and assisted driving, high-end models support L2 driving assistance system, equipped with 360° panoramic imaging, transparent chassis, parking assistance, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, automatic braking and other active and passive safety functions, providing a rich and practical technological experience.
