The 2025 BYD Seagull 305KM Vitality Edition (Smart Driving) is a small pure electric hatchback with an official guide price of RMB 69,800. It is positioned in the entry-level electric vehicle market for urban commuting and smart travel. The vehicle will be officially launched in February 2025.

The new Seagull has a body size of 3780×1715×1540mm, a wheelbase of 2500mm, a curb weight of 1160kg, a 5-door, 4-seat design, a luggage compartment volume of 930L, a minimum turning radius of 4.95m, and excellent flexibility.

In terms of power, it is equipped with a front permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 55kW (75 horsepower), a maximum torque of 135N·m, an acceleration time of 0-50km/h of 4.9 seconds, and a maximum speed of 130km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate "blade battery" with a capacity of 30.08kWh, and a range of 305km under CLTC conditions. It supports fast charging (30%-80% charging in 0.5 hours) and slow charging (4.3 hours). The maximum fast charging power is 30kW, and the interface is located on the right fender.
